BACK WITH A BANG! Jaw-dropping light displays will be lighting up the coast of Blackpool once again for the amazing World Firework Championships! Countries from all over the world will be putting their firework skills to the test. With 3 nights of competitions and 1 night of an amazing showcase. Leaving 4 nights of amazing entertainment for all the family to enjoy. And who could turn it down considering you can see all of this for FREE?!
3 countries will participate over 3 Saturdays and a Friday throughout the autumn months of September and October. The first night of battling is due to commence Saturday 17th September 2022, with fabulous showcases being set to music, and firing off over the beach outside of the infamous Blackpool Tower! Country number 2 will be competing Saturday October 1st and Country number 3 will be Saturday October 15th. Final showcase night will take place on Friday 28th October – where the winner will be announced! Have you ever been in the past? If you have, you will know the competition always used to run on a Friday night, but decisions were made to change it to Saturdays! All the countries competing are still yet to be announced.
Get yourself booked in to either the Doric Hotel or the Park House Hotel for one of these fabulous weekends – or even all of them! The views from our gorgeous sea view rooms will be breath-taking! Or if staying in isn’t for you, both hotels are situated on the sea front – with the Park House having around a 5/10 minute walk directly to the competition, or the Doric having around a 20 minute walk or a 5 minute tram ride. You could even go down onto the promenade in front of both hotels and watch the competition away from all the crowds. The rocky front and many benches make the front of the promenade a perfect location to see the mesmerising display.
